Election of AGIA Directors for Term 2020 to 2023

VACANCIES IN THE BOARD:

There are seven (7) vacant seats in the Board of Directors comprised of five (5) regular and two (2) associate members. Elected officers shall serve for a term of four (4) years from January 2020 to December 2023.

  • Regular – are those appointed or designated and performing as Internal Auditors
  • Associate – are those who are neither appointed nor designated as Internal Auditors but are performing audit-related functions

WHO CAN VOTE:

Only members either regular or associate who are in good standing as of 9 October 2019. Members who are in good standing are those who have paid the AGIA membership fee and annual dues.

QUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATES:

  1. Must be either a regular or associate member
  2. Must be in good standing as of date of submission of application/nomination
  3. Has no pending criminal or administrative case
  4. Must be at least SG 18 or equivalent job level position
  5. Must be willing to attend meetings of the Board of Directors and other AGIA activities
  6. Must be physically present during the election to be held on 10 October 2019 in the Annual Convention 

NOTE:   Only one (1) director shall represent a particular government agency as provided for under the by-laws thus, only one (1) nominee/candidate shall be allowed per agency and there shall be no nominee/candidate from the following agencies which are currently represented: PDIC, LandBank, TIEZA, DTI, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, DOJ, PCSO, LGU-Davao City, and COA

APPLICATION/NOMINATION:

  1. Application/Nomination for member of the Board of Directors shall commence on 24 August 2019 until 12:00 noon of 9 October 2019
  2. The applicant/nominee shall fill up the prescribed form (may be secured from the AGIA Secretariat or downloaded from this link) 
  3. Attach a copy of the following:
  • Appointment or designation papers from respective agency
  • Agency-issued certificate of no pending administrative case
   The Election Committee reserves the right to validate authenticity of the submitted documents.
